Primary Responsibilities

The Bridge Internship offers real-world experience on exciting projects and the opportunity to perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer in support of bridge design and inspection projects. Tasks may include:

• Performing standard bridge engineering/design procedures
• Developing structural details using specialized software (MicroStation, Mathcad, LARSA or various concrete and steel design or analysis programs),
• Bridge inspections
• Performing structural load rating calculations as well as assisting with geometric layout and bridge type studies.
• CADD plan production may also be required.
• Perform other duties as needed
