Requisition ID req34499 Working Title Shift Supv/OMI Position Grade 12 Position Summary As a nationally accredited program with strong educational component in The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) in Albuquerque investigates any death occurring in New Mexico that is sudden, violent, untimely, unexpected or where a person is found dead and the cause of death is unknown. The OMI, which is a special program within the Department of Pathology, determines the cause and manner of death in these cases, and provides formal death certification. To learn more about the program, visit: https://hsc.unm.edu/omi/services/. OMI is seeking two roles for Shift Supervisor/OMI to join our team. Our ideal candidate would be a team player and a strong, dynamic leader. This person will have experience working with decedents, forensic investigations, ensuring confidentiality and dignity of each case. The right person for this role will have strong work ethic, professionalism and ability to manage a diverse team. OMI is a 24/7 facility. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
