 PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Level III Fleet Maintenance Mechanic requires advanced experience and knowledge with gas/diesel engines and hydraulics/electronics to perform maintenance on a variety of resort equipment, while attempting to transcend the maintenance stereotype.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on all fleet vehicles in an expedient fashion. 
 Maintain gas and diesel engines 
 Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics/electrical components 
 Train and mentor Level I and II technicians, giving advice and pointers to less experienced staff 
 Assist Level IV technicians as needed 
 Perform moderate fabrication projects and custom modifications 
 Improvise and pioneer efficient methods for service and repairs 
 Assist with some administrative duties; finding parts, writing P.O.'s, filing records. 
 Document all parts usage and all work done on work orders 
 Follow all shop safety practices and dress code. 
 Maintain clean tools and work area 
 Manage motor pool and have accountability for damage on a daily basis. 
 Perform other tasks as assigned 
 QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 
 5+ years of related experience 
 High school education, formal automotive training, or equivalent 
 Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications a plus 
 Specialty training such as hydraulics and/or electronics 
 Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record 
 Must be able to lift heavy items and work in adverse conditions 
 Have an ample tool inventory: full hand tools, full air tools, diagnostic, etc.
