Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Lead Endpoint Engineer. Primary Functions: Lead the implementation and support processes for end-user technology at Hudson Valley Credit Union. This role will be crucial in ensuring the secure and efficient management of user identities and access across our organization. Lead initiatives involving desktop, mobile, audio-visual, cloud, and internal customer productivity tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IAM principles, end-user support, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IAM solutions, as well as providing technical support to end-users related to access and identity issue.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the build, maintain, and update the desktop/laptop images for Windows devices, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.
  • Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot IAM solutions.
  • Manage the configuration and deployment of Microsoft Intune for endpoint devices.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security policies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Handle software packaging and deployment using SCCM.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and optimization of endpoint systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain the device catalog and assess new laptop models and accessories for performance and quality.
  • Manage and support iOS and Android devices using Microsoft Intune.
  • Develop and maintain mobile security policies and ensure seamless integration with the organization's broader IT infrastructure.
  • Serve as an escalation point for user troubleshooting with mobile devices, providing advanced support and resolving issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in MAM, MDM, security best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor the health and performance of endpoint devices and take proactive measures to resolve issues.
  • Implement and enforce security policies to protect endpoint devices from threats such as malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
  • Ensure that all endpoint devices are compliant with security standards and regulations.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts for automating tasks, optimizing deployments, and improving security compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, provide major incident support, and guide less experienced team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures; generate reports to track usage, compliance, and risks.
  • Work with internal teams and third parties to drive continuous improvement and stay informed about product developments.
  • Collaborate on system upgrades and migrations.
  • Provide training to IT staff and users.
  • Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' Experience as an engineer and/or administrator of Microsoft systems is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' Experience administering Windows Application Deployment is required.
  • Minimum 2 years' Experience supporting Microsoft 365 is required.
  • Minimum 2 years' proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI), required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in planning, deploying & support end-point security solutions, preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' Work History in Credit Union or financial services industry preferred
