Job Summary The Manager for Integrated Technology Solutions for Microsoft and Collaboration solutions in Small Business leads a high-performing team of Solutions Advisors and Specialists, driving growth through innovation, collaboration, and a strong team culture. This role is pivotal in shaping and accelerating the success of assigned solution disciplines by fostering a dynamic environment where strategic thinking and customer-centric innovation thrive. As a key partner to Sales and the Integrated Technology Solutions leadership team, this individual champions cross-functional alignment and implements scalable processes that empower teams to win together. With a deep understanding of strategic solutions, the Manager oversees the solutions and services business through data-driven insights, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This leader is accountable for individual and team productivity, and plays a central role in cultivating a culture of trust, creativity, and shared success within the Integrated Technology Solutions for Small Business organization. What you will do
Deliver required solutions revenue, gross profit and growth metrics. Align with the strategic objectives, goals and strategies of the Small Business organization. Own and execute the strategy for Microsoft and Collaboration partners to drive key initiatives and campaigns Define, develop and oversee Salesforce standard operating processes, the execution of regular technical training and readiness activities for the Solutions Advisors and Specialists team. Manage team to ensure superior customer experience for each customer. Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs and processes as well as UCaaS/CCaaS partners Create and review monthly performance plans with team members using measurable criteria and input from relevant sources including peers, clients and vendors. Develop and manage annual hiring forecasts, sales projections, and pipeline management. Elevate the technical presales capabilities and expertise level of the team. Monitor and measure performance of Solutions Specialists Advisors and Solutions team. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to optimize new potential solutions business. Assist sales team to grow solutions by helping drive customer upsell and cross-sell strategies. Partner and collaborate with internal departments and top partners on campaigns and programs. Travel in-district to visit customers and participate within partner events in market (less than 15% of time) Create team oriented sales environment that rewards success and supports continuous improvement. Effectively communicate up, down and through the organization as required. As a member of the management team, contribute to the strategy and overall management of the Integrated Technology Solutions business. Define, develop and oversee the consistent creation of offering assets used by the Small Business sellers. Proactively build solid business relationships with strategic customers and partners.
What we expect of you Minimum basic requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years management experience with direct reports and 2 years with a successful track record in sales and/or ITS Internal applicants in ITS, Sales or Non-Sales Role: Completed LEAP Proven leadership skills Ability to hire, motivate, coach and retain a diverse sales team Strong consultative, solution based selling experience Effective negotiation and closing skills Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills Must have strong interpersonal skills Strong written, verbal, presentation communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, executives, other CDW departments, customers and vendor partners Adaptable, ability to lead through change Ability to utilize strategic thinking to fulfill long-term company goals Excellent time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously Exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills Ability to share in-depth knowledge of CDW capabilities with customers Strong internal and external customer acumen, working with each customer at the highest levels of ethics and integrity Must be able to travel up to 15% to customer meetings, events and/or other CDW location
Preferred skills, experience, and qualities needed
Current CDW ITS or Sales Management experience Knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs and hands on experience of working with Microsoft's programs and / or sales teams Experience with Microsoft's New Commerce Experience (NCE) program
