We're growing and looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse IV / Charge Nurse to join our team at City of Hope Lennar Foundation Cancer Center. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role within a high-acuity oncology clinic and help shape the future of cancer care.

As a Clinical Nurse IV, you'll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring optimal patient flow, and maintaining high standards of care. You'll be instrumental in managing clinic efficiency through strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including Infusion and Vascular Access to support workflow enhancements, process development, and special projects.

  • Play a hands-on role in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development, staff interviews, and quality and process improvement initiatives across our 3North and 3South clinics.

  • Help lead a collaborative culture where patients and staff alike feel supported and empowered.

  • This position is Monday - Friday, 4/10hour shifts

  • Sign On Bonus: $20,000

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative nurse leader with a strong background in oncology and medical-surgical nursing, along with previous experience as a charge nurse or triage nurse. Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nursing is required.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience, preferred background in oncology nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card through American Heart Association
  • Current National certification must be maintained to retain CN IV status. City of Hope (Nursing Excellence Department and HR) approve certifications which are a subset of ANCC Magnet-recognized certifications as updated in ANCC Demographic Data Collection Tool. (DDCT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
