Responsibilities: Intern Engagement
- Collaborate with the business development team to research and develop a competitive rate card for cryo GMP projects that drives sales initiatives.
- Participate in training on CGT processes, GMP standards, and the existing ULT/Cryo rate card framework to understand sales implications.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market analysis to benchmark our rate card against competitors (CAH, UPS, McKesson, Eversana) to identify competitive positioning and sales opportunities.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, industry experts) to gather insights on pricing structures and client expectations.
Data Collection and Time Studies
- Collect operational metrics and sales data to identify cost drivers and potential pricing strategies for cryo GMP activities.
- Analyze time and resource allocation for various cryo GMP tasks to support the development of compelling sales narratives.
Collaborative Workshops
- Organize cross-functional workshops with business development, sales, and operations teams to define rate card components and sales strategies.
- Draft the initial version of the rate card based on collaborative input, ensuring it aligns with sales goals.
Validation and Feedback
- Implement pilot testing of the rate card on select projects to assess its effectiveness in driving sales and gather feedback from the sales team and clients.
- Use feedback to refine the rate card, ensuring it meets business development needs.
Finalization and Implementation
- Finalize the rate card based on pilot testing results and prepare it for sales team training.
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team on how to effectively use the new rate card to enhance client engagement and drive sales.

Ongoing Review and Adjustments
- Establish a schedule for regular reviews of the rate card to ensure it remains competitive and supports evolving sales strategies.

Building Transportation Quotes and loading in Saleforce to align reporting to Alloga: The objective is to develop a streamlined process for creating accurate and competitive transportation quotes for all new business proposals. This will involve the following key components: Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and analyze historical transportation data and costs to establish baseline pricing models.
- Identify key variables affecting transportation costs, such as distance, weight, volume, and delivery timelines.
Standardized Quoting Framework:
- Create a standardized template for transportation quotes that includes all necessary components (e.g., mode of transport, cost breakdown, lead times, and service levels).
- Ensure that the template is adaptable to various business proposals while maintaining consistency.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with the sales, supply chain, and finance teams to understand specific requirements for each proposal.
- Engage with transportation providers to gather up-to-date pricing and service offerings.
Technology Utilization:
- Implement a transportation management system (TMS) or utilize existing software to automate quote generation and improve accuracy.
- Explore options for integrating real-time data and analytics to enhance decision-making.
Training and Development:
- Develop training materials for the team and the intern who will assist in the quoting process to ensure they understand the frameworks and tools used.
- Encourage feedback and continuous improvement of the quoting process.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the quoting process, such as quote turnaround time, accuracy, and win rates on proposals.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
