As a Navy Towed Array systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to contribute to the Navy's mission by supporting tasks in the areas of systems engineering, integration, testing, and fielding for a portfolio of undersea surveillance systems. Your customer will trust you to ensure proper engineering rigor and life cycle supportability as you coordinate and evaluate engineering modifications to legacy systems and new system designs, as well as support system verification, installation, and maintenance efforts.

On our team, you'll broaden your skillset into areas like mechanical and electrical systems, sensor technologies, and computing systems to support a broad spectrum of systems engineering tasking for clients. Your technical expertise will be vital as you support existing systems sustainment and contribute to the acquisition and development of next-generation sensor systems to support the Navy's Anti-Submarine Warfare mission. You Have:

  • 25+ years of experience providing engineering, installation, maintenance, and training support for fielded systems, including Navy Towed Array systems, for U.S. and Japan military
  • 25+ years of experience leading complex shipboard installation, integration, and testing of Towed Arrays and supporting equipment comprising multiple installation activities
  • 15+ years of experience supporting Foreign Military Sales programs interfacing with foreign military personnel during installation or maintenance activities
  • 15+ years of experience evaluating engineering and logistics documentation including requirements, design, test, training documentation
  • 15+ years of experience developing standard operating procedures and providing training for Towed Array systems
  • Experience evaluating Towed Array equipment failures, documenting findings and recommendations, and reviewing and reporting data in the Towed Array Management System
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary field with multiple customers, stakeholders, and experts, and work effectively in a role with geographically dispersed personnel
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
