Inova Epic Revenue Cycle is looking for a dedicated Sr. Epic Certified Systems Analyst - eMPA to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time working Monday - Friday day shift. Sr. Epic Certified Systems Analyst - eMPA implements and maintains EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance. Manages complex IT projects/products in order to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health's business needs using the EpicCare solution. Facilitates Epic updates, new releases and system enhancements. Communicates project and team status to internal/external audiences to keep project team informed. Conducts and participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness for Inova. Sr. Epic Certified Systems Analyst - eMPA Job Responsibilities:
- Configuration and implementation of new payer integrations as they become available.
- Maintenance and monitoring of current integrations, including triaging and resolving root cause issues inhibiting automation.
- Testing of message content and workflows to ensure submissions reflect operational requirements accurately.
- Ongoing optimization of work queue rules, views, and automation logic to support both manual and automated workflows.
- Collaboration with operational and revenue cycle teams to ensure end-user workflows are functional and aligned with payer and system expectations.
- Support of additional Payer Platform features, including proactive testing and rollout of capabilities like ID card exchange, ADT notifications, and coverage requirement lookups.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
- Experience: 3 years of Epic build and implementation experience; 3 years of project management techniques in hospital or healthcare environments
- Certification: Epic Referrals certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred experience with Prelude and/or Cadence in addition to Referrals
