PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Manager of Signals and Communications (S&C) - Communications Infrastructure oversees multiple, complex IT projects, coordinating all aspects from initiation to delivery. The role manages initiatives involving network, server, or software implementation; directs IT staff and stakeholders; defines requirements, scope, and budgets; and develops detailed plans with risk assessments and key performance indicators. Responsibilities include resource allocation, progress tracking, risk management, testing, documentation, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. The manager communicates project updates across all levels, drives adoption and change, and leads teams by leveraging project value and influence. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Medical and Drug Testing This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company or regulated drug test is required. Management Conductor Program Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
