Compensation Grade: P11Compensation Details: Minimum: $45,148.00 - Maximum: $45,148.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) AI - AIDS InstituteJob Description: Responsibilities The Project Aide will support the processing of direct pay claims for the American Indian Health Program. The incumbent will assist with the data entering and review of medical claim forms, responding to claim status inquiries, mailing/distribution of remittance statements to providers and other related duties as assigned. This position will be a part of a team within the Uninsured Care Programs responsible for the timely processing and payment of direct pay claims for the American Indian Health Program. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field or higher degree in a related field; OR two years of general office, secretarial, administrative experience and/or project assistant experience. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience data entering and reviewing medical claim forms. Experience responding to claim status inquiries from provider/billing offices. At least two years of experience providing administrative support to a program in an office setting. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
