Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $127,650.00/Yr. - USD $212,750.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Description

    Using expertise in open systems architecture principles, particularly as they apply to the development and integration of secure and interoperable communication systems
  • Using knowledge of DoD testing and evaluation procedures, including those related to spectrum certification and interoperability testing, is highly valuable
  • Navigating complex organizational structures, collaborate effectively with joint stakeholders, and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of systems engineering principles
  • Expertise in software development, network engineering, and hardware integration
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of DoD SDRs, Networks, and Waveforms
  • Knowledge of Radio Communication Theory
  • Experience and knowledge with EW systems, countermeasures, and best practices


Desired Skills

  • Deep understanding of DoD systems engineering processes, interoperability standards, and cybersecurity requirements
  • Experience working with tactical communications systems, Software Defined Radios (SDRs), and joint waveforms
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, risk management frameworks, and cybersecurity policies


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL



Travel Requirements

  • Some occasional CONUS travel required
