We're looking for a strategic and experienced RCM Commercial Liaison to join our team and help with operational and strategic performance of our end-to-end revenue cycle (order to cash).

As anRCM Commercial Liaison, you will serve as a critical link between Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Commercial Sales, and provider partners. Your primary focus will be to reduce friction in the revenue cycle by supporting provider onboarding, delivering field education, and resolving both pre- and post-claim issues. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure providers are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to drive clean claims, accelerate collections, and enhance the overall provider experience.

This is a field-facing role that requires strong communication, operational insight, and a deep understanding of revenue cycle workflows. You'll play a key role in supporting strategic accounts and ensuring alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Support provider onboarding and education to ensure pre-claim readiness and documentation accuracy.
  • Deliver consistent, scalable field education on billing workflows, reimbursement practices, and denial prevention.
  • Serve as the RCM point of contact for Commercial Sales teams to address provider-facing revenue cycle concerns.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Market Access and Strategic Payer Partners to align on provider strategies (without leading payer-related initiatives).
  • Assist in resolving post-claim issues such as denials, underpayments, and documentation gaps.
  • Provide escalation support to field teams and providers to improve collections and reduce cycle time.
  • Track and report on training delivery, field escalations, and resolution outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and recommending process enhancements.
  • Ability to travel (up to 60%) to support provider engagements and field initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals and operational efficiency.

About you:

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, provider support, or field-based consulting roles.
  • Familiarity with billing workflows, documentation standards, and reimbursement practices.
  • Experience supporting provider onboarding, training, or education in collaboration with commercial or market access teams.
  • Exposure to denial management, EOB interpretation, and AR/cash collection strategies.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to work with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, field-facing role, while knowing when to seek guidance and escalate appropriately.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including billing, claims, denials, collections, and payer reimbursement models.
  • Strong grasp of financial operations and key accounts receivable (AR) objectives within healthcare environments.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on operational efficiency, provider satisfaction, and continuous process improvement.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to distill complex RCM concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled at navigating matrixed organizations and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard business tools.
  • Professional presence with strong presentation and facilitation skills, especially in provider-facing settings.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or clinical background a plus.
  • Ability to navigate complex provider networks.

Estimated Pay Range

$91,000.00 - $118,000.00
