Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Pharmacist is responsible for all aspects of running the pharmacy at UNCW in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, including screening and preparing medication orders, and providing counsel to patients and families. This PRN position is responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal and state laws, university and health center policies and procedures as well as maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Doctorate of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program
  • License to practice pharmacy in the State of North Carolina
  • Knowledge or QS1 or other pharmacy software system

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Required Certifications or Licensure

  • License to practice pharmacy in the State of North Carolina
