The Product Support Learning Consultant will collaborate with the Product Support training team with all functions. They will play a key role in implementation and maintenance of training inventory, schedules, and curriculum. The position will also meet with various service departments to determine needs for training within specialized positions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Collaborate with Training Manager, Caterpillar, and Product Support Leadership teams to develop/Maintain/Assign Individual Learning Plans for all Product Support Employees in DPC and Success Track.
  • Collaborate with Training Manager to determine and implement yearly training strategies for the Product Support Training team.
  • Manage Training Department assets and inventory.
  • Determine and schedule all monthly instructor assignments on the training calendar.
  • Develop/Manage/Distribute various Training Reports, training calendars and individual learning plans to Product Support Leadership teams.
  • Provide coaching/direction to all Product Support employees and supervisors on their learning plans and career pathing goals.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all internal and external customer training inquiries/needs.
  • Manage Sales required curriculum and ensure Sales personnel and supervisors are in compliance by providing plan maintenance and collaborating with Caterpillar learning consultants and internal Sales leadership team.
  • Collaborate with training department administrative staff and instructors to implement efficient processes for pre/post class delivery, required records management and reporting for TCDP-A compliance.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



  • Associates Degree from 2 year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have valid driver's license and ability to meet and maintain company driving requirements if required to drive a company vehicle.
