Job Family Description

Project management personnel plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Program management personnel manage programs responsible for the execution of multiple projects or sub-projects. They secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. They manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

Program managers are responsible for managing organization activities and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. They perform the tasks and responsibilities associated with ongoing work efforts and oversee multiple related projects or initiatives within the organization. Program managers coordinate resources, timelines, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that meet quality standards and drive overall success.

Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

The Software Program Manager leads strategic, cross-functional programs within the SRNS PMO, ensuring outcomes directly support site missions, DOE/NNSA requirements, and corporate strategy.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software PMO Program Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of enterprise-wide ERP software programs. The ideal candidate will combine deep ERP knowledge with strong leadership, communication, and governance skills. This role also requires risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills to coordinate multiple interdependent projects.

Key Responsibilities
*Align ERP program objectives with organizational priorities and operational requirements.
*Lead the planning, execution, and governance of assigned programs from initiation through closeout.
*Develop, maintain, and execute multi-year program plans including scope, schedule, cost, and risk elements
*Translate organizational strategy into actionable program roadmaps, objectives, and deliverables.
*Lead program steering committees and governance reviews to maintain executive alignment and accountability.
*Monitor program performance metrics and KPI's to ensure progress and program financial health.
*Coordinate cross-functional resources to optimize capacity.
*Apply structured change control processes to manage program scope and baseline integrity.
*Develop and implement risk management strategies and resolve escalated issues promptly to protect critical path.
*Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
*Ensure compliance with SRNS safety, security, and regulatory standards.
* Provide executive-level program briefings.
*Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, best practices, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
*Mentor project managers, fostering capability development and alignment to PMO best practices.
*Prepare and present accomplishments and methodologies at offsite workshops and webinars sharing knowledge with peer groups both at and off site.
*Must effectively communicate with supplying vendors' management, customers (DOE, Site Prime Contractors, stakeholders, business partners, etc.) negotiating agreements, reviewing performance, and secures nuclear materials to prevent unwanted proliferation; and transforms nuclear materials into assets and stable waste forms.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least fifteen years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least twelve years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE)
* Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
