We are seeking a talented and driven Solution Manager to join our IT Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE) team. As a Solution Manager, you will be responsible for defining and owning the capabilities of the CoE in alignment with business partners and IT objectives. An ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in solution design, a strong understanding of business processes, and excellent communication skills.

This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. You will report directly to the Portfolio Director.

What you will do in this role:

  • Defines and owns CoE capabilities in alignment with business partners and IT objectives.
  • Owns and maintains the capability catalog.
  • Executes the CoE Roadmap aligned to business objectives and IT objectives.
  • Manages solutions, continuous improvement efforts, and capability development.
  • Responsible for solution design, including the mitigation of risks and issues, to support business objectives.
  • Responsible for mapping end-to-end business processes to solution capabilities across CoEs and coordinating with other Solution Managers as needed.
  • Accountable for communicating the capability roadmap and IT objectives to all key stakeholders, including business partners, IT Operations, Regional IT Partners, and other IT CoEs.
  • Maximizes the use of all business-value-added capabilities within the CoE.
  • Manages all Service Requests (SERs) within their assigned capability area.
  • Manages the supportability of solutions, including the integrity of the upgrade path.
  • Accountable for ensuring all parties involved in the integration, operational, run, security, compliance, and governance aspects of the solution are consulted in the implementation of a project.
  • Validates and signs off on new solution delivery for both projects and SERs.
  • Remains current on vendor product roadmaps, best practices, and their impact on the company's solutions.
  • Identifies opportunities for application rationalization, including applications with duplicate capabilities.
  • Looks for the root cause of incidents and problems.
  • Writes and maintains knowledge articles for Service Delivery.
  • Determines the testing strategy for implementation during the planning phase.
  • Drives maintenance of the solution, including the need for patching and analysis of the patching heat map to advocate for funds.
  • Owns the relationship with the vendor and establishes the Statement of Work.
  • Provides health care of the solution after its delivery.
  • Utilizes the FIT resources as needed and appropriate for development work on their capability area.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business goals.

Your Skills


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solution Manager, Business Analyst, or a similar role
  • Proven expertise in solution design and managing end-to-end business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with business objectives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and security best practices
  • Extensive experience with SAP supply chain planning solutions, including design and configuration in:
    • SAP APO (SNP, CTM, Optimizer, CIF)
    • SAP IBP (Response and Supply Planning, Forecasting and Demand Management)
    • ECC ATP
  • Proven experience with SAP data integration tools, specifically SAP IBP CI-DS and/or SDI/RTI integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field; ITIL, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Experience in the retail or fashion industry, particularly with retail planning (Assortment, Merchandising, and Allocation)
  • Experience with SAP Retail site planning
  • Experience with SAP IBP (Sales & Operations Planning, and Inventory Planning & Optimization).
  • Ability to analyze and debug ABAP code
  • Experience with Cloud-to-Cloud integration
