The Enrollment Services Advisor I is responsible for reading and reviewing applications for admission to University's academic programs, as well as reviewing applications for scholarship awards. The position may also advise prospective and admitted students on admission requirements, academic program requirements and financial aid. |
Minimum Education and Experience |
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Preferred Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of experience reading and reviewing applications for admission to higher education programs

Other Qualifications |
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Review applications, essays, transcripts, and other application-related materials to render admission and scholarship award decisions in a consistent and timely fashion.
- Stay current on federal, state and institutional policies and procedures as well as university degrees, majors, programs, research and admission requirements.
- Work within an admissions review group with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Participate in all assigned training and meetings.
- Participate in Enrollment Management events, which may include working after regular business hours and/or on weekends.

Remote Work Notice
Following successful completion of an initial training period, a
hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval.
Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be cancelled.
