What We DoAt First American, we're seeking a proven operations leader to join our team and drive excellence across a divisional scope. This role offers the opportunity to influence large-scale escrow and title operations, guide multiple teams across locations, and help shape the strategic direction of the business. This remote role provides flexibility, though preference will be given to candidates based in Texas or Florida.

As a key leader, you will provide oversight for day-to-day operations of multiple groups and departments. You will be instrumental in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring First American continues to excel in compliance, efficiency, and customer service.

How You'll Contribute

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance across multiple areas of escrow and title operations, serving as a key influencer and contributor to divisional goals
  • Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, and performance standards.
  • Apply policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory and statutory guidelines.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to organize, prioritize, and execute operational initiatives.
  • Drive divisional performance through collaboration, process improvement, and best practices.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and professional development to build strong, motivated teams and maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
  • Ensure delivery of measurable results by executing objectives and key results (OKRs) with clear accountability

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive management experience, with proven leadership in complex organizational settings.
  • National Title and Escrow experience a plus.
  • Experience with new construction is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic plans and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong track record of operational excellence and process improvements
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to engage internally and externally across all organizational levels.
  • Customer-focused problem solver with a knack for aligning solutions to client needs.
  • Proven track record of recognizing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to lead through complexity, balancing team performance, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
  • Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within the field, with the ability to apply them to complex projects.
  • Proficiency with functional tools, systems, and infrastructure that support departmental operations.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams and implementing scalable solutions across multiple locations.

Pay Range: $126,100-$168,125 annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
