General Manager, Olathe Production Campus Operations

The GM of the Olathe Production Center Operations provides strategic and operational leadership. Ensures efficiency, quality, and innovation while fostering a high-performing team and alignment with corporate goals, regulatory standards, and customer needs.

Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with corporate goals.Oversee capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.Collaborate cross-functionally with external entities including other Coca-Cola bottlers, Coca-Cola North America (CCNA), and the National Product Supply Group (NPSG).

Operational Management:Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, reduce waste, and lower costs.Manage plant budgets, monitor KPIs, and deliver performance reports to senior leadership.

Team Development & Leadership:Build, mentor, and retain a skilled leadership team and frontline workforce.Foster an inclusive culture of accountability, innovation, and employee engagement.

Quality & Customer Focus:Implement quality control systems that ensure consistent product standards.Collaborate with sales, distribution, supply chain, and engineering teams and other functional teams to meet customer requirements and timelines.

Technology & Process Improvement:Champion adoption of new technologies, automation, and lean manufacturing principles.Evaluate and optimize workflows for maximum throughput and reliability.

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years of work experience required, or minimum of seven years of progressive job experience, including people management, multi-level communication, and leadership required. Master's Degree preferred.
• Proven success in improving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles, such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Flow Mapping, Measles Mapping, Continuous Improvement Processes, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies
• Leadership through organizational influence, strong communication skills and consensus building skills are required.
• Strong presentation skills, results driven focus, and ability to prioritize required.
• Ability to effectively network across functions to positively influence outcomes.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
