Clariant is seeking an ESHA Manager to lead Environment, Safety, Health, and Accountability programs across multiple sites in North America, with direct responsibility for the Clear Lake, TX facility. This role ensures compliance with local regulations and company standards, drives continuous improvement in ESHA performance, and fosters a proactive, zero-incident safety culture. The ESHA Manager will partner with site teams and business leaders to enhance KPIs, implement risk management programs, and strengthen regulatory compliance across all regional operations. Responsibilities

* Lead ESHA activities at multiple sites across North America to ensure compliance with local laws, permits, and Clariant guidelines, while supporting safe and efficient operations
* Directly oversee ESHA programs at the Clear Lake, TX site, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards
* Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve ESHA performance in collaboration with ESHA partners and site teams
* Monitor performance management activities, lead KPI improvement projects, and ensure timely closure of audit findings, regulatory actions, and customer claims
* Implement and maintain risk identification and management programs (PSM, RMP), and act as the subject-matter expert on safety processes (PHA, EHWA, A&IA, MOC)
* Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to Site Environmental Officers (SEO's) and regional ESHA team members
* Ensure Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance for drivers and offshore compliance training for Gulf Oil Services operations
* Maintain relationships with local regulators and oversee amendments to air, water, and waste permits
* Lead business continuity planning and promote a zero-incident safety culture across all sites



Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, Health, or related field
* 5+ years of ESHA experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, leading cross functional projects
* 3+ years of experience with PSM/Safety program management
* Proven track record in implementing varied ESHA programs.
* Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
* CSP / CIH certification (or eligibility to sit for exam), preferred
