The Role

The Accounting Specialist will gain an overall understanding of our company and our construction projects, starting out with the job responsibilities below.

Job Summary

• Prepare, review and submit invoices based on customer agreements
• Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and customers
• Analyze unbilled reports and assist with necessary follow ups
• Manage AR aging
• Daily deposits
• Allocate and code monthly phone and fuel expenses
• Assist with employee relations/events as needed
• Organize workload to comply with deadlines and priorities
• Work independently to complete assigned projects
• Provides support to managers and other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent related experience OR education
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude with ability to communicate and maintain strict confidentiality as needed
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
