Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer. This role will support the design and implementation of a robust security infrastructure that protects client data and systems (both on-premises and in the cloud) from internal and external threats. This work will be conducted onsite in Washington, DC.



Responsibilities

    Understanding of business intelligence concepts and principles, data analysis and integration.
  • In-depth understanding of reports and summary development, metrics and dashboard creation, and graph and chart visualizations using BI tools.


Qualifications

At least ten years demonstrated experience developing software according to software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.

Demonstrated experience in development applications:

  • At least ten years for client-server or web platforms.
  • At least five years for mobile or cloud platforms.

At least ten years' of demonstrated experience of relational data structures and data manipulation methods associated with relational database systems:

  • Experience with database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Proficiency in designing, writing and performance tuning SQL queries including stored procedures.
