Position Summary: At NHS, the Account Director is the agency's main point of contact for the client. This person must understand client's needs beyond marketing and look deeper at their partnership with the agency. This person takes a leadership role in strategy development and ensures that the strategy maps back to the client's goals. The Account Director is a proactive and effective partner with all cross-functional team members. They need the ability to champion ideas, inspire great work and effectively defend and persuade the agency POV to the client. Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day client relationships at a senior level, earning trust through strategic thinking, clear communication, and consistent delivery
- Translate client objectives into clear, actionable briefs that inspire cross-functional teams and guide work from strategy through execution
- Drive the execution of integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels, with a focus on performance, dynamic creative optimization, and measurable impact
- Partner with internal teams and external partners to deliver strategic recommendations, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment
- Maintain a 360 view of the client's business to identify account growth opportunities and deliver innovative, insight-driven solutions
- Mentor and support account team members, fostering development, accountability, and long-term team retention
- Anticipate client and internal challenges, proactively managing issues before they escalate
- Use interpersonal savvy to mobilize internal and external resources in support of long-term client strategies
Requirements:
- 7+ years of account management experience in advertising, marketing or agency environment
- Proven ability to lead complex accounts and manage senior-level client relationships
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing across traditional, digital, and social channels
- Experience executing media campaigns with dynamic creative strategies
- Proven ability to manage $2MM+ in annual business, including financial oversight, revenue forecasting, and scope development
- Experience managing & mentoring team members
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills encouraging team cooperation
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect big-picture vision to actionable initiatives
- Strong problem-solving instincts with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving client needs
- Demonstrated superior oral, written and strategic abilities
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
