Your Role

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for the scheduling, inspecting, shipping and receiving of product into and out of inventory. Establishes methods and practices to maintain the integrity of the inventory and maintain stocking levels. Oversee all inventory issues and material handling personnel and monitors all data transactions related to inventory. You will report to the Production Manager - Equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an ongoing cycle count program and maintaining accurate records.
  • Organizes and manages the annual physical inventory when required.
  • Track and manage the movement of all material and all corresponding transactions within the ERP system in a timely manner.
  • Establish and implement controls to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the inventory and methods to identify and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Supervise and develop the inventory control team, ensuring effective processes and accountability
  • Provide regular inventory status updates and key insights to the Production Manager.
  • Work with Purchasing and Quality to ensure parts and materials are of the highest standards and all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Verify accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet customer demand.
  • Other operational functions as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



  • Proven experience in manufacturing, production planning, and materials control, with strong proficiency in computerized systems including MRP and related software applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Capable of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational goals.



EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
