Acara solutions is looking for Advanced ARM Software Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ

  • As an ARM software engineer for the Boards team within Advanced Electronics Systems that is part of the Land and Air Systems LOB, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing commerical boards for the defense industry.
  • Design and develop high-quality software for ARM-based systems
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to deliver innovative solutions
  • Work on Board Support Packages (BSP) for new FPGA based HW
  • Enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with ARM architecture and development
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with AMD Vitis Toolset
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with embedded Linux
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with PetaLinux
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Make
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience desired with x86 architecture
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in programming languages like C and C++
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Agile experience
  • Solid understanding of Board Support Packages (BSP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Prior experience with the IPMI protocol is a bonus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in previous projects
  • Passion for staying updated with the latest technology trends
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
