DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will support the Roadway Program Coordinator and Assistant County Maintenance Managers by delivering technical services, overseeing material supplies, and executing various tasks to ensure the organization runs efficiently.
Your primary duties will involve managing fiscal responsibilities, including reconciling invoices, processing payments, and overseeing fund commitments. You will also be tasked with researching and addressing inquiries from external customers related to accounts and billing, while maintaining a monthly utility cost spreadsheet to aid in county budget planning. Your strong organizational skills will be essential as you coordinate external agreements, prepare specification packets for the District Fiscal Office, and verify contractor invoices for accuracy. Additionally, you will ensure precision in entering goods receipts, act as a system requisitioner, manage inventory input and reconciliation, and resolve any invoicing discrepancies. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Hours may vary with seasonal requirements
- Overtime and travel may be required
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
