In this position, you will engage in entry-level technical tasks related to construction projects, primarily in a training capacity. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that all construction activities adhere to approved codes, plans, standards, and specifications. Your responsibilities will include participating in various duties, particularly in inspecting materials and workmanship on transportation construction projects to verify compliance with contract requirements and established standards. You will also create inspection checklists for each operation you oversee, which will involve researching contract items in relevant standards guides, special provisions, and other pertinent materials. Additionally, you will assist in inspecting all phases of transportation construction work, including checking grades, elevations, and the staking of structures and roadways.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position also requires possession of a valid PA Class C driver's license.
