DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As Clerical Supervisor 2, you will be responsible for staff supervision of Record Retention within the Document Control and Records Maintenance Division. Adhering to the retention schedules, your work includes administering the purging of files, as mandated by the Records Retention Schedule and administering the implementation of the record system directed by the Commission. This position authorizes personnel to have access to records at the State Records Center and coordinates the transfer of files from all Bureaus to the State Records Center or Archives. You will be expected to supervise staff engaged in the digitizing project converting microfilmed records to digital scans and authorize such records to be placed online at the Commission's website for public review. Our team will rely on you to act as a liaison for information between the PHMC/DARMS and the PUC. You will have the opportunity to attend meetings, seminars and training sessions held by PHMC/DARMS to keep our team current with best practices in records management. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Successful candidates are required to report to the headquarters worksite daily, unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
