Do you have the energy, rhythm, and creativity to get kids moving? The North Kirkland Community Center is looking for a fun and inspiring Hip Hop Instructor to lead dance classes forages5-11! What You'll Do:
- Plan and teach upbeat, age-appropriate hip hop classes
- Create a safe, fun, and inclusive class environment
- Communicate effectively with both kids and parents
- Encourage confidence, coordination, and creativity through dance
What You Bring:
- Solid knowledge of hip hop and youth dance styles
- Creative, flexible teaching style
- Experience working with children ages 5-11
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
Special Note candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP. Hours of Work Classes start September 2025. Wednesday afternoon/evenings at the North Kirkland Community Center.

- Good communication skills are required.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated good judgement in problem solving and responding to customer needs.
- Proficiency in standard computer software.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Must have 6 months of related teaching experience.
- Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification by start date.
- Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.
- Mustbeatleast18yearsofage.

Working Conditions & Physical Activities Work is performed in a community center setting, with high levels of noise. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, and stoop to complete tasks.
