Are you a civil or structural engineering student ready to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects? Fishbeck is offering a hands-on internship where you'll work alongside experienced engineers on the design and analysis of buildings, bridges, and infrastructure. You'll gain valuable experience, mentorship, and exposure to the full lifecycle of structural engineering.
What You'll Work On
- Assist in designing and analyzing structural components and systems.
- Help prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Participate in site visits to observe construction and verify design compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Use CAD software and engineering tools to support design development.
- Join project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Basic understanding of structural engineering principles.
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
