You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring our network systems meet and exceed evolving customer needs through expert design, implementation, and optimization.

Collaborate with engineering and network teams to translate customer requirements into robust, scalable network architectures.

• Design, configure, and maintain advanced data networks supporting mission-driven cloud operations.

• Develop detailed network architecture specifications and schematics tailored to current and future operational demands.

• Recommend and implement hardware and software solutions that optimize network performance and capacity.

• Lead the design and deployment of failover and redundancy solutions to ensure continuous, reliable network availability for key customers.

• Manage and integrate a wide range of network devices and technologies, including routers, firewalls, switches, and more.

• Provide expert support for server networking needs, including load balancing, VPNs, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT).

• Apply your expertise with Cisco technologies such as ASA appliances, Nexus 9k switches, 2960-XR Layer 2 switches, and Cisco Catalyst 6500 series equipment.

• Conduct advanced network configurations and tests, including GRE tunnels, MPLS, and redundancy assessments on Cisco platforms.

• Strong foundation in Network and Systems Engineering with hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-supportive data networks.

• Deep understanding of network management protocols and security best practices.

• Expertise with a wide array of network hardware and software tools.

• Proven ability to develop scalable network solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.

• Familiarity with Cisco networking gear and configurations, including advanced routing, switching, and failover techniques.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required

• Minimum 14 years of systems engineering experience on complex programs and contracts

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field from an accredited institution is required

• 5 additional years of systems engineering can substitute for the degree
