Cloud Engineering Manager

Cloud Engineering Manager – (employer: IPG GIS US, Inc.; job location: Dallas, TX) – Manage an engineering team in optimizing the quality and velocity of automation development and operations. Implement disciplined engineering and operational processes, and ensure team focus on priorities, milestones and deliverables. Identify and measure team delivery indicators. Lead private to public cloud migrations. Deliver IaaS, PaaS or SaaS projects. Lead multi-cloud, systems and network integration projects. Design, develop and test complex software solutions to support distributed, scalable and highly available services. Interact with peer Managers, Product and Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Operations team members. Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Communication Technology and Policy, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or another cloud engineering manager position. All of the required experience must have included: software engineering; leading geographically diverse application development teams; agile software development; cloud development and engineering (AWS); configuration management systems (Chef/Puppet/Ansible); and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Github Actions/TeamCity). #LI-DNI.
