Program/Project Manager I

The Staley School of Leadership seeks a highly organized and collaborative Program Manager to oversee the daily operations, logistics, and program evaluation for the North Central Extension Leadership Development (NELD). NELD is a premier initiative fostering leadership learning and capacity-building for extension professionals across the North Central Region of the United States. At K-State, NELD is a key strategy to advance applied learning and promote community-centered leadership practices that respond to regional priorities.

This position is Hybrid eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, communications, organizational development, public administration, or a related field
  Master's degree in a related field
• Experience in program coordination or management
• Experience working in extension, higher education, or nonprofit leadership programs
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and leadership development models
• Knowledge of regional extension systems and networks
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with digital tools for communication, project management, and evaluation
