Talent Acquisition Partner

Ceres is seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Partner to help drive growth and be a part of a dynamic global Talent Acquisition team. This role will play a critical part in attracting top talent for our Emergency Response, Construction, Forestry and Vegetative Management teams, ensuring we remain ready and equipped to meet both routine and crisis-driven environmental demands.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment for entry, mid-level and specialized roles, refining sourcing strategies, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and delivering measurable hiring outcomes.

This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Leader and is based in Sacramento, California.

Responsibilities



  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, design job specifications, and advise on recruitment timelines and strategy.
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment-from sourcing to offer-across diverse functional areas.
  • Source and attract both active and passive candidates using social media, niche boards, referrals, and networking.
  • Conduct video/phone interviews, present qualified candidates to hiring teams, and coordinate feedback.
  • Manage candidate experience consistently, including interview prep, feedback loops, and negotiations.
  • Track hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline velocity, and provide regular reports.
  • Participate in employer branding, recruitment events, and outreach campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies and legislation-including background checks and data privacy.
  • Other recruitment projects as needed by the organization.



Physical Requirements and Environment



  • Must be able to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel for recruitment events or initiatives.



Required Qualifications



  • 3+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Solid grasp of the end-to-end recruiting process.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems and job posting tools.
  • Drive for results, independent initiative, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive and professional environment managing sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (EEOC, background checks, etc.).
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
