JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.

Our people at JLL and JLL Technologies are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

We are seeking a visionary and technically adept Director of Product Management to spearhead the data transformation within JLL's Project and Development Services (PDS) business. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in architecting and executing the global data product strategy, converting raw data from disparate sources into a cohesive, strategic asset that unlocks significant value for our internal teams and clients. You will own the entire lifecycle of our PDS data products, from discovery and strategic planning to delivery and value realization. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly autonomous and self-sufficient product leader who thrives on solving complex data challenges, possesses an innate curiosity to connect data in new ways, and has a strong bias for execution in a large global organization.

WHAT THIS JOB INVOLVES

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for data within the PDS business, identifying key opportunities to build foundational data products that enhance efficiency and create strategic value for our teams globally.

  • Lead the discovery, evaluation, and prioritization of internal and external data sources for ingestion into the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), building and owning a clear and compelling global data product roadmap.

  • Collaborate extensively with senior PDS stakeholders and operational teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to deeply understand regional nuances, pinpoint critical data gaps, and gather detailed requirements for data products.

  • Define and implement strategies to unlock the value of our data assets, overseeing the development of intuitive and powerful data services, APIs, and analytical tools that make data accessible and actionable for business users and other technology teams.

  • Partner closely with data engineering, architecture, and analytics teams to oversee the successful and scalable ingestion, integration, and modeling of data within the EDP, ensuring data quality and reliability.

  • Define and analyze metrics that measure the success, adoption, and impact of data products, ensuring they deliver tangible business value and guiding subsequent iterations and investment decisions.

  • Champion a data-driven culture within PDS, effectively communicating the value proposition of data products and advocating for the adoption of new data tools and processes.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive work experience in the technology or data industry, with a demonstrable track record building and managing foundational data products, platforms, or enterprise applications.

  • Significant experience in product management, with a specific focus on data-centric products (e.g., data warehousing, data lakes, APIs, analytics platforms).

  • Strong technical versatility, with a deep understanding of data ecosystems, including data ingestion, enterprise data platforms, data modeling, data governance, and analytics.

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related technical field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a strong plus.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to successful completion in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Self-motivated and autonomous, with the ability to manage multiple strategic data initiatives simultaneously with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking, with a structured approach to solving complex problems and the ability to simplify intricate data concepts for non-technical audiences.

  • Outstanding relationship management, communication, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and align diverse global stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Experience in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry, particularly with project and development services, is a plus, but not required.
