***This is a Sponsor Funded, Part Time, Temporary position****

The National Institute for Student Success (NISS) is hiring for a part-time, temporary Sponsor Funded Administrative - Educational Technology Specialist, Lead to support two developing and soon to be implemented NISS services: the Professional Certificate and the Guided Implementation Pathways
Program. Supervised by the Senior Director and working closely with the Associate Director of Educational programs, this position will aid in the development of modules and assessment protocols for each program. The position will also act as the point of contact that will guide clients through the online platforms by answering questions, pinging non-active clients, providing direct feedback on assignments, scheduling workshops and community of practice meetings, and connecting clients to coaches and SMEs when needed. This position will also work closely with the Incubator
team to ensure client outcomes and impacts on student success are properly recorded post engagement.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Sponsor Funded Administrative Specialist Job Duties include:

  • * Provide advanced instructional design services and project management for NISS courses connected to the certificate and Guided Implementation Pathway Program (GIPP) services
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct needs assessment; design and develop high-quality online courses, incorporating a variety of effective instructional tools and technology; create appropriate content and recommend approaches to meet intended learning outcomes,
    following appropriate legal, ethical, and procedural guidelines and practices, including accessibility.
  • Work with clients each day to complete module assignments and to direct them to needed resources. Provide daily/weekly assessment of course assignments. Connect with clients through learning management system to ensure successful completion of online programs.
  • Work with incubator team to track and measure impacts on student success at client campuses.
  • Develop assessment measures and complete programmatic reports on client delivery, satisfaction, and impact for senior leadership.
  • Perform other professional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

* Experience with learning management systems and instructional design including working across
multiple subject areas
* Ability to develop learning content while keeping in mind the user experience
* Ability to develop learning products for the unique needs of each identified audience
* Demonstrated experience designing rigorous and relevant formative and summative assessments to
effectively measure progress and mastery
* Experience working with product teams to create a quality user experience in addition to
building learning assets and/or curriculum
* Demonstrated understanding of principles of learning theory, learning system design and
instructional development related to online learning and teaching required
* Effective interpersonal and communications skills and ability to work as part of a team required
* Experience creating and monitoring web content reporting tools
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Experience with website/content/social media management
* Experience in strategic design and web development
* Strong understanding of document design and rhetoric
* Should possess a passion for continued professional development in the areas of instructional
design, learning experience design, curriculum development, teaching and learning, etc.
* Ability to present complex analyses effectively
