Job Description Job Title CFO & VP of Finance Location 1003 American Way, Verona, WI, 53593 Job Category Full Time Employee Type Exempt Description: A strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer & VP of Finance to lead the financial operations of our multi-site, growing contract manufacturing company. The CFO is responsible for directing and overseeing all financial activities of the organization, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Internal Controls and Compliance, Audit & Assurance. As a key member of the Executive team, the CFO plays a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and supporting profitable growth. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Leadership * Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Latitude short-term requirements and long-term growth * Partner with Latitude's President and Executive Team on strategic planning and business decision-making * Lead annual budgeting, long-term forecasting and planning process for internal management, financial partners and ESOP valuation * Serve as ESOP and 401K Plan Sponsor * Facilitate financial execution of payroll and benefits administration * Oversee internal controls, insurance, contract reviews and approvals, and legal compliance * Serve as Board of Directors Secretary Financial Reporting & Compliance * Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. * Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, ESOP regulations, and other financial standards. * Manage relationships with external auditors, ESOP Partners, and financial institutions. * Develop financial metrics that monitor the health of the business. Cost Accounting & Margin Analysis * Oversee the development of standard costing and variance analysis * Analyze Customer and product profitability, support pricing decisions and contract negotiations * Capture total production costs including fixed, variable, operating, direct, and indirect costs. * Provide financial analysis and insights into efficiency and gross margins IT, ERP & Financial System Management * Develop Information Technology Roadmap to ensure IT systems stay relevant by introducing new technology to facilitate collaboration and data processing * Implement an IT Risk Management process that ensures proactively addresses vulnerabilities, ensures business continuity, and prevents financial losses Operational and Strategic Support * Establish and monitor department budgets that support the strategic initiatives * Collaborate Operations to improve cost controls and efficiency * Support capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and budgeting process * Develop financial tools collaboratively to support operational decision making * Understand the relationship between financial metrics and daily operational performance Team Leadership * Lead, mentor and develop the finance, accounting. IT and ERP teams * Ensure optimal structure and competencies are available to support the business at each location * Develop organizational goals that challenge the Finance team to excel Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA preferred * CPA * 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing or contract manufacturing company * Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management and ERP systems * Proven experience in financial strategy, capital planning, and cross-functional collaboration * Experience in a $100+MM, multi-site, high mix manufacturing organization and leadership of off-site team members * Collaborative, professional leadership style with a hands-on approach, strong communication and analytical skills Preferred Experience: * Experience with regulated industries, such as Aerospace & Defense, medical, etc. * Experience with an Employee-Owned business * Experience with opening new facilities * Experience within an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) or non-profit organization * Knowledge of FARs, DFARs, DCAA, Government accounting Latitude Corp. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
