Position Summary:

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist you are responsible for sourcing and full cycle recruitment. You will partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and will develop recruiting strategies by using traditional and non-traditional resources; source for both active and passive candidates by conducting searches through creative sourcing techniques including social media, job posting boards, cold-calling, networking, internet, trade journal advertising, professional networking sites, job fairs, campus recruiting, etc.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties



  • Ensures process integrity, manage recruitment process to include sourcing, interviewing, screening, selection, pre-employment testing through onboarding.
  • Oversee HR coordinator's staffing responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate processing of applicants and new hires.
  • Establishes and maintains partnerships with organizations such as high schools, trade schools, colleges, associations, etc.
  • Coordinates and participants in various recruitment events, i.e. Campus visits, Career Fairs, Job Fairs
  • Partners with hiring managers to develop, implement, and manage short-term and long-term recruiting strategies to meet hiring goals and expectations for a diverse, collaborative and productive workforce.
  • Leverages social media platforms (LI, Instagram, etc.) to post job openings, share employer branding content, and actively network with potential candidates.
  • Serves as a representative to outside organizations representing diverse groups as a means of establishing resource-rich networks to aid in the recruitment and potential employment of qualified candidates affiliated with such groups.
  • Reviews selection techniques and methods.
  • Audits the applicant tracking system and data to ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal EEO standards
  • Analyzes and recommends appropriate steps to proactively ensure positive outcomes with a disparity analysis (hires, transfers, promotions, etc.).
  • Works in coordination with HR team to ensure EEO/AAP programs/process are implemented successfully.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills



  • At least 4 years of recruiting and sourcing experience
  • Behavioral Based interviewing experience
  • Expert sourcing knowledge utilizing internet search engines and social networking sites
  • SuccessFactors ATS experience is preferred
  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
  • Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of peers.
  • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, HR and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
