Sr. Network Engineer

* Advanced Troubleshooting experience in large enterprise networks
* Produce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployed
* Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
* Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
* Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
* Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

* Active Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification required
* Experience deploying Cisco Catalyst 9300 and Cisco Catalyst 9400 series switches
* Removing & replacing line cards from Cisco Catalyst switches.
* Switch Staging & IDF migration - Identifying IDFs requiring stacked solutions & building out switch stacks
* Capturing data from legacy switches for upgraded switches (including: current configurations, active connections, CAM ARP table information, port statuses, VLAN details, etc.)
* Replicate configuration of legacy devices to new designated equipment
* Modify VLAN assignments to align with any planned VLAN consolidation and test for routing
* Cisco route / switch experience to include configuration and troubleshooting of L2, L3, OSPF, route maps, HSRP, Spanning Tree, VRF, GRE tunnels.
