Material Coordinator Location: Long Beach, CA City Light & Power (CLP) is a company at the forefront of the modern-day electric utility industry. We are a Subcontractor for a major utility provider in Southern California. CLP is seeking a Material Coordinator for our Long Beach location. The Material Coordinator works in a fast-paced enviornment and will track ordering, receipt and use of material, and manage the material inventory. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, organize, and digitally file material buyout documentation.
- Review field-reported material usage forms and reconcile them against corresponding material buyout records.
- Update and maintain the internal database to reflect the status of material reconciliation efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to investigate and resolve discrepancies in material records; make necessary corrections to both documentation and database entries.
- Prepare and submit final reconciled material documentation to the customer for approval, supporting project closeout.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Intermediate proficiency of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- Previous utility industry work experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organizational and digital filing skills
- Able to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
Schedule:
- Full-time, 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday-Friday
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly payrate: $22.00 to $26.00 based on experience
