JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will provide direct oversight of a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team that handles 988 calls/chat/text. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing direct management and oversight of all Illinois 988 operations and serve as the liaison with the Department of Mental Health (DMH) to best support children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a mental health crisis in Illinois. This position is part of a large multi-disciplinary team that works as part of a service line across a multi-state footprint. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent computer skills, a proven ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication/instant messaging and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment. Supports the Centerstone Mission, Vision and Values in delivering care that changes people's lives.

Communicates clearly and appropriately; provides excellent customer service. Adheres to applicable policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides direct leadership to Illinois 988 Program Managers and Clinical Supervisors.
  • Participate in 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline monthly meetings, webinars and evaluation activities
  • Provide weekly data (outcome measures and KPI) to DMH and other crisis leaders as requested
  • Develop and maintain referral system for providing referrals and access to resources for all 988 call/chat/text interactions.
  • Maintain mechanism to track and monitor any grievance on 988 service delivery
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding and training of all 988 staff
  • Facilitate bi-weekly staff meetings, staff trainings, and staff development functions
  • Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training and team meetings with leadership team.
  • Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
  • Assist in administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Master's Degree in mental health or related field.

Four years of experience working in a mental health related position required.

988 program experience preferred.

Licensed Mental Health Professional in the state of Illinois required.

Pay Range:

$90,000.00--$135,030.00
