Quality Manager - Paper Center of Excellence

• Maintain quality certifications and lead successful internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory quality standards (GMP, BRCGS, etc.)
• Reduce customer complaints and internal defects through root cause analysis and corrective action
• Lead plant-wide quality initiatives to improve consistency, reduce cost, and elevate service
• Use data and KPIs to monitor trends and proactively mitigate quality risks

• Strong leadership presence with a hands-on approach to solving quality challenges
• Strategic thinker who understands both the big picture and critical process details
• Builds trust and drives cross-functional collaboration across departments
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence

• Requires one of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of quality-related experience demonstrating a progression of increased scope and responsibility
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience with strong leadership and management skills
• Proven leadership in quality management within a manufacturing environment
• Deep understanding of quality systems (e.g., BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, QMS) and audit readiness
• Skilled in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, RCA, 8D, FMEA, and DOE
• Strong knowledge of process improvement, data analysis, and compliance frameworks
• Preferred: ASQ or Six Sigma certification, experience in packaging, paper converting, or plastics/chemical manufacturing
