This job will involve controlling all aspects of tasks, from the initiation, through the process and through to completion. As a Private Mortgage & Residential Construction Banker, you will deliver the private client experience for a select group of NBH clients. The primary job responsibility is to actively pursue the full banking relationship of mortgage and builder construction clients of all types with a priority focus on the affluent client base. You will be expected to achieve specific deposit and loan sales and service goals on a quarterly and annual basis with a target credit relationship of $500,000 - $10,000,000 and a target deposit relationship of $250,000 - $5,000,000. Your secondary job responsibility will be to refer cash management/treasury product, small business, and commercial opportunities outside of target size to other internal partners. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including; establishing an entrusted banker-client relationship, work and counsel the client in all aspects of the loan process; from initial meetings to loan closing, coordinate assigned client financial and banking needs through a proactive and disciplined approach that reaches across multiple lines of business and service/support teams, and study and understand broad local and national economic and business issues that allow fluent advisory discussions with affluent clients to engage and to help determine client needs. Additionally, you will proactively call on existing and potential clients, and develop and maintain relationships with business partners to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales standards. You will maintain and support credit portfolio in accordance with organizational expectations including but not limited to: collecting financials, fostering future business growth, working past due payments, etc. As well ask, you establish a referral network and build relationships within an established COI network, conduct market industry research for market trends that impact clients' business, and spot opportunities to provide financial services. You will also create pipelines of prospect and calling activity to be reviewed routinely with the Manager, and work closely with the Banking Center Managers to assist in growing loans and deposits for market place in a safe and sound manner. You will provide service, training and support to banking center staff to assist in meeting sales goals and servicing the client, work closely with the Private portfolio team to provide a proactive, responsive client experience as well as coordinate with Business Banking Officers, Treasury Management and Commercial Relationship Managers to support delivery of a full range of loan and deposit products to large businesses in the market area. You are expected to be active in the immediate community, serving on community boards and attending community functions as time permits, protect all client and bank information, and follow Customer Privacy and Information Policy & Procedure for communication with clients, vendors and associates. You are responsible for adherence to bank's operational compliance and security policies and applicable state and federal laws, building a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
