In our Neuro-Ophthalmology clinic, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients-from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a clinic environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate patient flow from check-in to check-out Collect insurance verifications and payments Schedule new consultations, follow-up visits, and surgeries Complete referral forms and obtain authorizations for services Answer a heavy phone line Salary Range: $26.42-37.49Hourly Qualifications Required: Experience in scheduling tests and surgeries. Experience working with various insurances, and prior authorization process. Ability to work efficiently and calmly under occasional high-pressure situations or deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with patients, physicians, medical professionals, and co-workers. Skill in working independently with accuracy and ability to follow instructions with minimal direction. Skill in prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines and ability to determine which duties may require immediate attention. Ability to work with frequent interruptions and manage several duties at once in an efficient manner. Preferred: Experience working in an Ophthalmology practice.
