Overview This position is responsible for managing all facets of inventory along with management of material procurement for the entire locomotive mechanical group; this will extend to other Mobile Repair Units, contract shops and potentially a locomotive repair facility. As a strategic sourcing and functional procurement process (P2P) expert, this position will work closely with the Mobile Repair Units (MRU's), Contract MRU providers and/or Field Services' purchasing and materials personnel as well as with IT and Accounts Payable. This person is accountable for meeting KPI's for all programs and initiatives as assigned by the Director, North American Maintenance Operations. This role can be remote OR based out of Chicago, IL or La Porte, TX. Responsibilities
Sourcing and procurement strategy development/execution for all assigned commodities, products and/or services.

As of the post date, the salary range for this position is: Min USD $90,000.00/Yr. Max USD $127,000.00/Yr. This role may be eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire. This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs. |
