More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Cloud Development Engineer Intern in Menlo Park, CA.

• Build cloud servicesthroughprototyping,implementation,testing and launch.
• Support in designing thearchitecture and infrastructure forfeatures that connect cloud, embedded and mobile components,comparing various options and identifying uncertain areas.
• Analyze issues and identify improvement opportunities to steer the product roadmap,and work on the ongoing performance and reliability of our cloud services.
• Collaborate with other functions, like QA, product and partnership managers, as well as engineers from partner companies and suppliers, to jointly optimize our product experience.
• Support solutions for our continuous integration / continuous delivery environment.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with modern programming languages (Go preferred), infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred),CI pipelines (Gitlab CI preferred), and monitoring (Datadog preferred).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to write scalable, well tested and clean code and have a good understanding of object-oriented development and other software development principles.
• Knowledge of web and IoT technologies and protocols, such as RESTful APIs, OAUTH, and HTTP.
• Effective communicator and a team player

Pay Rate:$27 - $35 per hour (based on year of study)
