Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm Step into a fast-paced, hands-on role where your work keeps the entire operation moving! As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be at the heart of the action-loading, organizing, and preparing shipments with precision and care. From operating forklifts to wrapping pallets and scanning inventory, you'll play a key role in getting products out the door efficiently and accurately. Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Transport inventory and materials throughout the warehouse - Stack, organize, and store large bulk items properly - Accurately pull orders to prepare for shipment - Load and unload delivery trucks both manually and using a forklift - Use tape guns, pallet wrap, and label products accurately - Ensure all inventory handling is scanned or processed using designated stations - Identify and report damaged materials or products requiring replacement - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment - Follow all health and safety protocols - Complete all assigned tasks and side work from supervisors - Support timely and accurate shipment of all freight Warehouse Associate Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience operating a forklift - Valid forklift certification required - Familiarity with basic warehouse tools and equipment - Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently - Manual dexterity for using tools such as tape guns, shrink wrap, and scanners - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift) - Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching - Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift - Capable of working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness - Dependable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
