Assistant/Associate/Professor-Pediatrics Genetic Assistant/Associate/Professor-Pediatrics Genetic Hiring Department: UICOMP-Pediatrics Location: Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID: 1036600 Posting Close Date: 11/4/2025 Budgeted Salary Range: $208,000 to $240,000 per year The Section of Pediatric Genetics at University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICOM) Peoria is growing and works very closely with the genetics team at UICOM Chicago campus. The pediatric genetics group at Chicago campus currently provides 24/7 coverage for metabolic genetics with 0.3 FTE physician, 1 FTE metabolic dietitian and 1 FTE APN effort dedicated to Children's Hospital of Illinois, Peoria. In addition, 0.2 FTE general genetics support is provided through Chicago campus, this includes in person and virtual clinics. We currently have 3 FTE genetic counsellors and 1 APN support at Peoria campus. The person hired for this position is expected to foster the clinical and research collaboration between the two campuses and continue to build genetics services. There are several opportunities for clinical research and program development. Dedicated protected time for academic work will be provided to the successful candidate.
