OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY

The Vice President of Regional Sales has the primary responsibility of leading and directing a sales team to meet or exceed predefined closed sales, gross margin, profitability, and budgetary objectives across the Greater Philadelphia Region. This role involves strategic planning, managing and motivating people, business development, selling, leveraging technology, and improving overall sales/operations processes. Secondary responsibilities include reinforcing a positive company culture, providing occasional guidance to local employees, and acting as an additional escalation point as issues arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Strategy and Measurements



  • Develop sales strategy, closed sales and revenue targets for groups
  • Accurately forecast future sales and form sales plans to adapt to shifts in the marketplace
  • Utilize metrics and tools to manage expectations to Executive Management
  • Provide feedback and guidance on additional feature-sets and tools that would improve overall reporting and/or process


Sales & Management



  • Achieve personal and/or overall sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that migrates current clients and also expands Cenero's client base in the region and within Ricoh
  • Own recruiting, objective setting, training, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Address client issues and suggest/present prompt solutions
  • Assist sales team in building & managing major client initiatives
  • Assist sales team with managing/closing key client contracts, etc.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Reinforce and effectively communicate the value proposition to clients and company through proposals and presentations
  • Develop key A&D affiliates and "Sphere of Influence" partners
  • Hold regular sales pipeline meetings with sales representatives at least 2x per month
  • Actively engage peers and SMEs to address issues or to develop stringer processes for driving growth and efficiency

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred
  • 10 plus years of proven success in increasing top line revenue through new sales and account expansion
  • 10 plus years of experience in the audio-visual system integration field
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of building successful sales teams
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
